Subject: Virtual Legal Services - Current and New

Hi Ann,

I hope you have been able to adapt to the current circumstances that we are facing with the ongoing pandemic. It definitely is not easy and can leave you exhausted.

Strangely, I have never felt so busy and had nowhere to be. Each day, I've been thinking about what people need from a legal standpoint and a personal standpoint.

To highlight a few important changes.

I have had a virtual and physical office for several years to serve clients at any time from anywhere. My office has been paperless for half a decade.

The transition to work from home (WFH) has been comfortable for me and I'm using all technology available to make it comfortable for those who need me.

I have added new services and improved current services.

Primary legal offerings relate to wills, powers of attorney, and probate.

Will in a Day® Virtual
My current, and most popular, service is Will in a Day®. Appointments are now virtual and participants are able to have all documents prepared, witnessed and notarized in a single appointment without leaving their house.

More details and scheduling at my webpage for Will in a Day®.

Iowa Remote Online Notary (RON)
My new service is remote online notary (RON). This legal process was adopted early by Governor Reynolds; it was to be effective July 1, 2020. I am approved by the Iowa Secretary of State to provide remote notary services.

More details and scheduling at my webpage for RON.

Power of Attorney Virtual
A hybrid of current and new service is for power of attorney documents. They are already included in the Will in a Day® package; they are now offered as a stand alone for anyone who wants a healthcare power of attorney, financial power of attorney, living will and legal consultation.

More details and online booking are included on my Will in a Day® page.

Virtual Probate in Iowa
Another hybrid of current and new service is virtual probate.  I have already been representing individuals in probate/estate matters; now I can do it without the person having to leave home. If you or someone you know are an executor, administrator or beneficiary and have legal questions, I am offering virtual consultations. Book a virtual consultation.

Before the pandemic, the most frequently I sent emails was once a month. My frequency is not going to change. I can't handle all the email and I'm sure you don't like it either. You can get regular updates on legal services by following my Facebook Page @HopeWoodJD or visiting my website https://hopewoodjd.com. If all else fails, "google" my name.

Hang in there!

Hope
