Irrevocable Trust

What is this?

Legal assistance for your parent(s)or grandparent(s) to set up an irrevocable trust to protect property and reduce taxes when the owner of the property dies. "Irrevocable" means that the trust can't be changed or terminated without permission of the beneficiary (the person the trust is set up to benefit).

Example:

  • Your grandparent wants to prepare an educational trust to ensure you have funding for college.
  • Your grandparent wants to establish a charitable trust to ensure assets are distributed to a particular organization or charity.
