Durable / Financial Power of Attorney

What is this?

Legal assistance to create a durable power of attorney - the written authorization to represent or act for another person. A "durable" power of attorney simply means the document stays in effect if you become unable to handle matters on your own. A "financial" power of attorney gives someone the authority to handle financial transactions on your behalf.

Example:

- You want to make sure your brother has the right to make all financial decisions in case you are incapacitated.

- You want your daughter to be able to manage your finances while you are out of the country.
