As the President and Chief Executive Officer, David is passionate about ARAG because he has seen legal insurance change lives. He stays ahead of customers' rapidly changing expectations by encouraging ARAG team members to take risks and be nimble so they can transform smarter, faster and more creatively. David believes a company's greatest asset is its employees and works hard to ensure the culture at ARAG is a leading differentiator and important contributor to the company's success.
David has more than 30 years of legal insurance experience at ARAG. Prior to being named President and CEO in 2011, David served in multiple roles at the company, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. David has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and a master's of business administration degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
David enjoys fishing, spending time with his family and watching his children participate in sports and other activities.
